Am’Agyn is a vibrant voice and brilliant mind whose best qualities show up in all that she does—daily. She currently works as a Human Relations Intern at All of Us Together Co. full service human relations firm in Omaha, NE, and is a junior in high school at Duchesne Academy, an all-girls, private, Catholic college precatory institution that enforces a high standard of academic excellence. Her academic pursuits both before and at Duchesne Academy have equipped her with a solid foundation in various subjects, including History, English, Math, and Science. Her participation in AP and Honors courses demonstrates her intellectual curiosity and dedication to academic excellence.

In addition to excelling in the classroom, Am’Agyn actively engages in numerous extracurricular activities, showcasing her leadership potential and community involvement. Her involvement in organizations like the school’s Mock Trial Team, Poetry Club, Diversity Club, and Academic Decathlon has honed her critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, her roles as Class Vice President (2023) and participation in sports such as cross country and cheer have fostered leadership, discipline, and teamwork. She is the 2026-2027 High School Cheer Captain.

Beyond, and perhaps more important than her academic diligence is Am’Agyn’s care for other human beings- young and old. She is committed to social justice, which is evident in her involvement in programs like the Loyola University School to Prison Pipeline urban remodeling design project (Chicago, IL), the Youth 360 Collaborative (Omaha, NE) and the Congressional Youth Advisory Academy. These experiences have allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of systemic issues that plague our world and develop a passion for advocating for underrepresented and marginalized communities.

Her awards and recognitions, including multiple first-place finishes in the MLK Day Jr. Competition (in both Nebraska and Kansas state 2017-2022), her title as the 2024 20 Under 20 Nebraska Distinguished Award Recipient and one of three 2026 Nebraska Youth Poet Laureate finalists, and the 2024 winner of the Midland’s African Chamber’s Rising CEOS cohort and competition further highlight her exceptional abilities and dedication to self-development.

Am'Agyn Spencer is the President and Founder of CIVIXne, a federally recognized 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that Nebraska’s young people get the un-biased civic education they both desire and deserve. She is also the CEO and hiring manager at Neighborhood Nannies, a company she founded in 2024 to pair brilliant young babysitters with families to care for kids via what she calls, “mind-molding and meaningful mentorship”.

Am’Agyn demonstrates infinite potential as a current and future leader. With her strong academic foundation, leadership skills, and commitment to social justice, she is well-positioned to—and already has began to make a significant impact on—the many communities she has been and remains a part of.
